I can't say enough about Tim and his
crew. We had a fairly major tree removal and landscaping project (fifteen
thirty-year-old trees on our front lawn). He did what he said he was going to
do, when he said it would happen, and at the price he said it would cost. The
team was safe and courteous. Tim clearly showed he cared about the final impact
of the project on our home and neighbors vice just looking at it as ‘just a
job.’

I would like to echo many of the positive comments posted on the website and
thank Tim and his crew for doing a fantastic job. We had a large Silver Maple, a
smaller redbud and two evergreen shrubs removed from the side of our property
and the stumps ground for three of the trees on May 4th, 2010. From the initial
visit and estimate to the actual tree removal and grinding we had nothing but a
positive experience. The crew was extremely considerate and polite and in a
single afternoon all the trees and shrubs were gone and everything cleaned up. I
would highly recommend Tim Corbin's Tree service to everyone.

We cannot speak highly enough about the extremely professional services Mr.
Corbin and his team provided. From beginning to end it was unbelievably
seamless. There were a few political snags along the way throughout the course
of this large project. Regardless, through the entire process, Mr. Corbin
successfully put our minds at ease in a variety of ways:
IMMEDIATE responses and clarification regarding questions/concerns relating to
legalities and technicalities of tree removal rules, regulations & requirements
within our county. This was very important to us.
Provided an incredibly methodical and sound explanation for all professional
advice and services. Taking time and not rushing, ensuring all questions &
concerns were clearly answered before during & after services. Did so in a
concise, professional yet friendly manner. It became clear within a short period
of time that Mr. Corbin is without a doubt a subject matter expert and was (by
far) the best choice amongst his competitors.
Mr. Corbin’s follow through to come back & check on the condition of the work
that was performed is simply unheard of. More often than not, when work is
contracted out, the person you talk to is not the person actually doing the work
and once it’s complete you never hear from or them again and don’t want to be
contacted about the job performed. Not true in this case.
Shaped large trees in a manner that brought out the beauty in the tree. Removed
large trees in a very safe manner. Removed stumps so well you would never know
anything was there.
Over the course of several days, we observed a level of respect and kindness
towards and amongst the various members of Corbin’s team. Although he was the
boss, he was down in the dirt right with them, hands on, assisting with various jobs with other team
members. We couldn’t help notice that he is extremely meticulous, detailed and
wants to get everything just right.
Our family would like to sincerely thank Mr. Corbin and his team for such a
beautiful job well done. Our land was transformed from an unusable, hazardous
space into a gorgeous green, landscaped backyard where our children will have

I would like to thank Tim and his crew for doing a wonderful job on taking down
a tree in my back yard. I had a very large Silver Maple that was hanging over my
house, hot tube and fence that I needed to have removed. On June 2 2009, Tim and

I highly recommend Tim Corbin's Tree Service. I had used Tim in the past
for smaller jobs with complete satisfaction and finally was able to get the big
job done. I had 5 trees that needed to come down this time, one being massive
that was very close to my house. I watched in amazement how methodical they were
in taking down this tree. The six people he had working on this job, including
Tim. worked in harmony to get the job done. Each person new what their role was
and took this tree down without incident. In fact, my hot tub was right next to
the tree and not one piece of the tree even fell on the top of the hot tub
cover. The men are safety conscious and care about your property when they're
doing the work. In addition, once all the trees were cut down, the men raked
everything and cleaned up both the front and back yard. Other than the fabulous
light I have now in my yard from taking down the trees, you'd never know they
were there. Also, taking these trees down is going to cure the mold problem I
was having, which we all now know is not good for health reasons, let alone the
damage it does to your home.
Everything was completely cleaned up before they left my home. I would never
even consider using any other tree service than Tim Corbin. I have other trees
that have died and need to come down in the fall and I wouldn't even consider
using anyone else.

In early March 2009 my neighbor and I in Springfield VA were looking to take
down 3 massive red oaks and a fair sized white oak and have the stumps ground
up. I was not looking forward to the process due to a negative experience last
year where I had tree work and some light landscape work done by a DIFFERENT
company who: never showed up when they said they would, would not answer their
phones or return your phone calls, dragged the work on for 5 days when they said
it would take no more than 2 days, and walked off the job because they couldn't
follow through with what they promised in the contract. Needless to say I did
not want to go throgh that again. This year I got 6 different estimates and
although Tim's was not the cheapest he was able to do everything I needed done
with the best value. Tim, his crew, and his wife could not have made the process
easier. All communication was done via email and phone calls. His Insurance
company emailed me a copy of their insurance within 24hrs. of my request. Tim
showed up when he said he would, finished the job when he said he would, did all
work as agreed, did not ask for payment until all work was completed. He and his
crew took down the two trees per day and hauled away all debris and wood. Each
day, he arrived after I had left for work and was finsihed before I came home so
there was never an inconvenience. Aside from a few small tree dents in the yard,
you would not have known anyone was back there. I never met Tim or any of his
crew in this whole process but then again there was never any reason too. Thanks
again to Tim and his crew for all their hardwork! It was greatly appreciated! I

We recently purchased a new home in Louisa, Virginia. Our almost 2 acres of land
was cluttered with trees and debris. Not only were the trees an eyesore since so
many of them were rotting and a danger to our grandchildren, they blocked the

My wife and I had put out a few bids for some tree service
around our lot. The bid consisted of shaping a mature, overgrown elm, taking out
(down to the stump) a 15 - 20 foot pine, several large branches off of another
much larger pine, pruning a large privacy line of blue spruces that were in dire
need of shaping and thinning, and also removing a large pile of debris that had
accumulated over the past several years in a rear corner of the back lawn.
We were not looking for the cheapest price, nor the highest, and instead were
looking for a company that presented themselves professionally, that were not
afraid of offering their suggestions to arrive at a total solution, and were
committed to a thorough clean up upon completion.
The three bids we put out all came in around the same price, give or take a
hundred dollars or so, and the two that we did not select DID present themselves
professionally and did appear knowledgeable, though there was something about
Tim's group that was over the top.
Attention to detail while roaming the yard-scape, the relevant questions he
asked, and the advice that he provided fulfilled us with the confidence that his
team was up for the job.
So, I come home from work (my wife was at home to greet Tim and his team, and go
over the plan one more time), and I really could not stop smiling. The elm was
beautifully shaped and I could not get over the artistic beauty of the tree
itself upon its being neatened up (similar to someone getting a serious haircut,
revealing a handsome face). The one pine tree gone was in the middle of a
circular rock garden, and there was not one area of the garden or the fieldstone
surrounding it that I could find to have been disturbed. The large pine tree
with its limbs removed was wonderfully balanced. The privacy line of spruces was
cut back to add at least a couple of feet in front and back of it, and was
symmetrically cut. The pile of debris that was removed yielded quite a bit of
space for another garden, and I cannot believe that I never saw it as such an
eyesore before. All of this work, and yet the lawn showed no trace of the day's
activity. My wife said that while some were working on the trees, others were
constantly raking the lawn and carrying off debris.
It is obvious to me that Tim Corbin takes his work seriously, embraces it with
pride, and has a serious passion for the profession.
Thank you, Tim, and see you next year for the maple work on the front lawn!

for the Department of Defense in Germany and rent out my house in Fauquier
County, Virginia. I was concerned about the large trees next to my
house and asked Tim to take a look at them and make recommendations.
Within days, he gave me an several alternatives to take care of my immediate
concerns. He also made recommendations to improve the appearance of my
property and recover some valuable lawn from the densely wooded lot.
The day after I approved the work, Tim and his energetic staff arrived at my
house and began transforming the wooded lot into a wonderful yard. His
team removed all of the debris; ground the stumps well below the surface;
graded, seeded and mulched the yard; and returned regularly to inspect the
progress. All of this coordination was over the Internet and
phone. Even my tenants were surprised at the speed and efficiency of
Tim's work.
This $15,000 task was the most stress-free event I have ever undertaken and
it is due to Tim's professional "can-do" attitude. He
started work on an Internet handshake even before I could transfer the funds
to his account. Tim Corbin is my "go to" person from now on
when I have related requirements.

It is indeed an honor to add my comments to the feedback database for Tim's
Tree Service. I have had several so called professional companies perform
work at my house and in other areas, but none come close to the service
rendered by Tim.
A fine "down home" gentleman that performs the job in the time he
said he would and at a cost that didn't break my budget. You should see my
yard and my trees!!! Everyone says it look like a new place.
Not only did he fix screw ups by other individuals but turned my yard into a
thing of beauty. (now if I can keep it looking like that from now on.)
Rating Tim.....I would says 6 stars out of a possible 5....yes....his
service is better than ooutstanding!!!! Try his service...you will se what I

Tim and his crew did a first class job for tree work and patio and landscape
construction. They did all work on schedule as promised and took care to
do a neat and professional job.
They trimmed trees, layed a large flagstone walkway and patio, installed

Comments: It is very rare to meet someone with such a
strong work ethic and dedication for a job well done, however Tim Corbin
exhibits these qualities and exceeded all expectations when he serviced our
trees in Falls Church, VA.
When we first met Tim he took the time to explain exactly what needed to be
done and why certain tasks needed to be performed. It is evident that he
knows what he is talking about and his judgement should be trusted and
respected. He did not try to talk us into anything that was not absolutely
necessary.
Tim came to our home as promised (the day before hurricane Isabel). He
likely had several other offers of larger jobs that would pay him more money,
but he stayed true to his commitment and did the work he said he would do -
exactly when he had promised to do it.
While our neighbors has significant clean up and several trees lost, ours stood
firm through the storm. The tree he removed would have certainly been lost
had the job not been done that day.
Lastly, because we were on a budget, Tim worked with us financially and made
certain that we were getting our moneys worth. In the grand scheme of
things our job was likely a small one, but Tim treated our job with the care and
priority of one that was much larger.
Our yard now looks much better and we have healthier trees. Thanks to Tim
Corbins Tree Service!!
There are few people that we would recommend for anything. However, we do
